The position of Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment activities of the project and/or company. The Recruiter is ultimately responsible for talent acquisition at all levels of staff.
Essential Functions:
•Find, connect, and develop relationships with prospective employees
•Develop, implement, and perform college/university recruitment plan for internships, co-ops, and full-time newly graduated employees and positions
•Collaborate with hiring managers to determine profile needed for open positions
•Conduct interviews, explaining benefits summaries, company culture, long-term vision for position, and any other applicable information for candidates
•Train hiring managers on effective interview tactics
•Review resumes and applications to determine potential fit
•Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
•Develop job descriptions, position advertisements, and define minimum requirements for positions
•Develop improvements to recruitment strategy
•Cold call potential candidates for open positions
•Provide feedback to applicants and candidates who have applied and/or interviewed
•Develop and perform social media recruitment strategy
•Monitor and search job/resume boards for active and passive candidates
Required Qualifications
•Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
•Positive attitude and intrinsic drive to succeed
