Quality Engineer

Crow Precision Components, LLC (Crow) is a forge manufacturing company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Crow is a division of WHI Global, LLC, (www.whiglobal.com). Crow’s 98,000 square foot manufacturing facility operates 2 shifts; and its capacity includes 6 hammers, 12 hydraulic presses, and a screw press. Crow is NADCAP certified to perform Heat Treat and Non-Destructive Testing. Crow is ISO 9001 and AS 9100D certified.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant documentation of all quality assurance activities. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Maintain the Quality Management System documents (QMS Manual & Procedures).

Maintain material and process specification files.

Control and maintain the Quality & Manufacturing Stamps.

Prepare Quality reports.

Participate in the review of customer purchase orders.

Coordinate internal audits on compliance with the Quality System Manual & Procedures.

Participate as a member of the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Team.

Maintain the Approved Supplier List.

Maintain the Supplier Performance report.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a United States person.

Associate’s degree or trade school certification is required.

- High school diploma or GED certificate will be acceptable with verifiable 1 – 3 years of experience working with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

Practical experience working with Quality Management Systems. AS9100 preferred.

Solid experience with Microsoft and ERP applications (must have strong typing skills).

Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to employees and customers.

The following qualifications are desired but not required.

- Familiarity with written policies & procedures, and quality controls.

- 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

- Experience in the aerospace industry.

Must have strong organizational and administrative skills.

Ability to work independently and closely follow directions.

Strong communication skills. This position requires frequent verbal and written communications with employees, management, and the Company’s suppliers and customers.

Available to work weekends and overtime as may be required.

Capable of standing for extended periods of time.

Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
