This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s stock levels and movement of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the supply chain. This role typically involves tracking, analyzing and reporting on inventory to prevent shortages, overstock or losses. They must conduct audits on receipts, returns and other functions that may impact inventory integrity. They serve as a critical link between physical inventory and digital records, collaborating with various departments such as purchasing, sales and operations.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Perform regular cycle counts and put away audits to verify actual stock levels against system records. Investigating and reconciling any discrepancies.
Organizing and maintaining the inventory storage area (Warehouses, return area, quality hold area etc..) for efficient access and space utilization, including product rotation and pick route mapping.
Identifying operational issues, helping develop and implement improved inventory control procedures and create protocols to minimize waste, damage and theft.
Generate reports on inventory accuracy, ABCD product location optimization and space utilization.
Audit incoming RA and Receipts for timely processing and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
· Proficiency in inventory management, Microsoft Excel, data analysis, cycle counting procedures and basic logistics principles.
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication (Written & Verbal), time management, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Properly use forklifts, reach truck, pallet jacks and WAV order pickers to move product
· Ability to use hand tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, tape measures, calipers and weighing scales etc.
