PowerON Energy Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Quality Advisor to lead quality assurance and control initiatives for our Transit Electrification Infrastructure Project and other critical ventures. This role is key to maintaining and improving our quality standards while supporting the successful execution of cutting-edge electrification projects. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset, and a commitment to fostering a culture of quality excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust Quality Management System that complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

•

Oversee the document control processes, including templates and registries, ensuring all project-related documents are accessible, accurate, and up-to-date.

•

Establish quality control procedures for subcontractors, including simplified and scalable processes to maintain consistency across all project activities.

•

Work with internal departments to ensure procedures are being communicated to subcontractors and are being followed.

•

Perform ongoing audits to ensure that quality standards are integrated throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and commissioning.

•

Identify areas for process improvement in project documentation, submittal procedures, and operational workflows. Collaborate with teams to implement best practices.

•

Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements across all project operations.

•

Provide training and resources to staff and subcontractors on quality procedures, document control, and compliance measures.

•

Work closely with the Construction, Engineering, and Environmental teams to align quality objectives with overall project goals.

•

Track and report on quality metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, construction management, or a related field.

•

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.

•

Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a strong asset.

•

Proven experience developing and implementing QMS and document control procedures.

•

Familiarity with transit electrification or energy infrastructure projects is an asset.

•

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

•

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and subcontractors.
