Essential Duties:

- Purchase raw materials. Follow through the complete pay process, making sure the invoice gets paid in a timely manner.

- Receiving raw materials. This is a daily task and accuracy is important.

- Purchase plant equipment. You will have to communicate with vendors to ensure equipment arrives when it should and the invoice is processed once equipment has been received.

- Build an inventory database and maintain min/max inventory.

- Purchase consumables. You will be tasked with building an inventory of consumables and maintaining a min/max on-hand inventory.

- Ensure all state and federal permits/fees are paid in a timely manner.

- Scan in daily paperwork and electronically file it.

- Manage the plant p-card and reconcile monthly.

- Run errands such as dropping food-grade samples off at FedEx and make runs to Sams and Lowe's from time to time.

- Eventually the individual would take a role in the Daily Report, ensuring the accuracy of the report before sending it out.

- The roles for this job will grow based on the skill set of the employee.

- Would have a role in ISO and timesheets. Help to keep organized and ensure accuracy of data.

- Must be willing to take on other tasks from time to time. We are a small group and we all wear multiple hats.

Requirements:

- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Certification (GED)

- EXPERIENCE: 3+ years expereince

- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License

- OTHER:

- Previous inventory and materials handling experience required

- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one preferred

- Strong computer skills (Excel proficiency required)

- Ability to work independently and handle both administrative and hands-on tasks

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening.
