- Train operations on warehouse practices, driving inventory accuracy, and optimizing warehouse functions
- Maintain adequate inventories
- Conduct annual stocktakes and cycle counts
- Oversee the implementation, purchasing, and follow-through of functional inventory systems
- Develop and maintain master data in the ERP system for new projects
- Implement a system for trackability for auditing of initial setups
- Develop a trackable process to identify gaps in the reciprocating engine sites inventories, communicate these gaps with the broader operation and supply chain teams, then work towards developing a solution
- Prepare and maintain progress reports for the projects the role is responsible for
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure inventory levels are established efficiently, and accurately to the stakeholders’ expectations
- Assist in supply chain process training to maintain compliance with processes and policies to ensure site understanding on how the ERP system can be used
- Assist in site with setup and strategy for stocking parts in compliance with EDL inventory standards
- Assist in sourcing/tracking emergent supply chain issues
- Manage warranty and core processing and tracking for the sites
- Track project specific orders for lead time and assist in the goods receipting to manage the procure-to-pay process to ensure risks are managed appropriately
- Identify any supplier gaps that may be needed to support the business
- Raise requisitions as required
- Identify process improvements pertaining to the ERP system
- Ship required inventory parts to site as determined by management
- Identify and establish key vendor relationships to support the reciprocating engine business unit
- Track critical spares and submit related reports to management
- Identify and action regular purchases that may become inventory stock
- Ensure the business has the parts required support the scheduled maintenance
- Identify and communicate opportunities for supplier consolidation or alternative, lower cost supply chain

- Associate Degree in business
- 5 years of prior supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with qualifications in Purchasing/Inventory Administration or related discipline
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications at an intermediate level
- Advanced Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of the concept of inventory management and ERP systems
- Knowledgeable in supply chain management systems working in a purchasing and inventory framework
- Experience in Oracle is preferred
