Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Reports To: General Manager

Location: Fulton, MS

Description: The Purchasing Manager will lead all procurement activity at our manufacturing facility including sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and contract negotiations. The role requires a strong team leader with a passion for problem solving, data analysis, and strategic thinking while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: : Manage critical suppliers through performance metrics, and continuously monitor inventory levels to meet operational demands and budgetary goals.

: Develop alongside management annual budgetary targets. Prepare KPIs to track performance against monthly and annual targets. Report on cost savings through price reductions, decreased lead times, or reduced usage rates.

Closely monitor key supplier performance of on-time shipments, fill rates, and quality rejects. Find and develop new supplier sources to maintain competitiveness

Needed for Success: Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Foundational knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes. Ability to develop relationships with internal and external partners.

Competencies: Strong Communication & Data Management Skills

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems

Ability to Work as Part of a Team & to Meet Deadlines

Requirements: 5+ Years of purchasing experience in manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
