We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent - Buyer to join our procurement team. This role requires full time in office hours during the training process which is expected to last several months. Afterward, work from home hours can be discussed.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and send Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for all assigned materials and reconcile pricing.

- Follow up on critical purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.

- Analyze vendor proposals and quotations to determine reasonable pricing.

- Source materials that meet project budget and lead time requirements.

- Actively manage vendor accounts to achieve optimal pricing and consistent performance.

- Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, RFQs, and communications.

- Support project managers with product research and material alternatives when needed.

- Resolve issues related to incorrect or delayed shipments in a timely and professional manner.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
