Position Overview:
The Property Care Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple landscape maintenance crews focused on bed maintenance and property care. This role ensures that Team Leaders and Team Members perform to the highest standards in weed control, mulch management, plant health, edging, and overall bed presentation. The Field Supervisor acts as the bridge between management and on-site teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction across all assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and support Property Care Team Leaders and their crews during landscape bed maintenance operations.
•Conduct site visits to evaluate quality of work, provide coaching, and ensure standards are consistently met.
•Assist with scheduling, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring crews have the tools, equipment, and materials needed.
•Train Team Leaders and Team Members on best practices in weed removal, pruning, edging, and maintaining clean, well-defined landscape beds.
•Monitor safety compliance and enforce company procedures on job sites.
•Communicate with clients, site managers, or internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
•Report crew performance, site conditions, and progress to upper management.
•Support the onboarding of new team members and promote a positive, team-oriented culture.
Requirements:
•2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, with a strong understanding of bed maintenance practices.
•Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
•Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Ability to lead by example and motivate field teams.
•Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
Work Environment:
•Outdoor work environment in various weather conditions. The position requires regular travel between job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
