Overview
R.M. Buck Builders is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented high-end Property Management/Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the care and maintenance of high-end residential properties on Kiawah Island. Our clients are absentee homeowners who rely on us to manage their homes with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and quality.
This role is primarily supervisory and coordination-based, ensuring that all routine maintenance and property-related work is executed to luxury standards. You will act as the liaison between homeowners, subcontractors, and our internal team, managing both recurring property needs and occasional light construction projects. While this is not a labor position, there may be occasional light hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities
•Conduct regular property inspections to ensure homes are maintained in pristine condition.
•Identify maintenance needs and convey to office staff for review; schedule appropriate service providers (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, etc.).
•Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on work performed by subcontractors and trades.
•Manage project timelines, ensuring that all scheduled work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
•Perform occasional light hands-on tasks when needed (e.g., changing filters, checking systems, replacing smoke detector batteries, etc.).
•Track and log billable hours, service records, and tasks using Buildertrend software.
•Provide clients with timely updates and reports through the office and Buildertrend.
•Assist in overseeing small-scale renovation or improvement projects.
•Ensure properties are always homeowner-ready
•Respond to time-sensitive issues and emergencies in a prompt, professional manner, including on nights and weekends when necessary.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in property management, construction coordination, or a related field
•Strong understanding of residential systems and high-end home standards
•Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
•Professional communication skills with a client-focused demeanor
•Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software
•Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps for tracking and reporting
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
•Ability to walk properties, access crawl spaces/attics if needed, and navigate active job sites
•Light construction or handyman experience is a plus
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to respond to property needs after hours or on weekends if emergencies arise.
