The Hallmark Company is currently hiring for a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to provide support and oversight for the business function of a multifamily Tax Credit/HUD property. The Assistant Property Manager will also be responsible for bookkeeping and marketing efforts, and leasing functions. The responsibilities of an Assistant Property Manager are as follows:
•Manage the bookkeeping functions of the property by overseeing rents, occupancies and expenditures.
•Lead marketing effort to promote awareness of and occupancy within the community.
•Supervise leasing programs to maintain maximum occupancy.
•Manage emergency situations when necessary and communicate issues to home office.
•Coordinate resident relations, which includes taking resident phone calls, requests and concerns.
•Process renewal and delinquent notices and follow up as necessary.
•Oversee daily leasing paperwork and proper completion of service requests.
•Assist with completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
•Schedules maintenance work orders, inspects vacant apartments, schedules repair work and inspections.
•Additional duties as assigned.
The qualifications for an Assistant Property Manager are as follows:
•High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
•Yardi/ Bluemoon experience preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
•Exposure to property management software and accounting software.
•Experience with Tax Credit/HUD multi-family housing preferred.
•Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
•Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.
•Fair Housing Certificate required.
•A valid drivers license required.
