Henry Development Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team. This full-time role supports the daily operations of a diverse property portfolio, including residential rentals, downtown Marion lofts, office and retail spaces, short-term rentals (Airbnbs), and a coworking/event space.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted position combining property operations, hospitality coordination, light administrative duties, and active cleaning. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organized, willing to roll up their sleeves, and excited to be part of a mission-driven, entrepreneurial team.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day support across various properties
•Perform active cleaning tasks including Airbnb turnovers, tenant move-outs, and common areas
•Help with setup/takedown for events or meetings
•Coordinate access for contractors, utilities, and maintenance personnel
•Maintain and track inventory of supplies, linens, and keys
•Follow and uphold cleaning and turnover checklists
•Communicate with tenants or guests in person, by phone, or via text
•Track hours accurately and maintain digital records
•Use property management and timekeeping software
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
•Work is hands-on and may include lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing stairs, and being on your feet for extended periods
•Tasks may take place in a variety of environments, including newly renovated units, outdoor areas, and properties without central air/heat
•Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
Qualifications:
•Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
•Willingness to clean and perform physical, manual work
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Comfortable using digital tools, apps, and checklists
•Previous hospitality or property management experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
•Pay range: $20–23/hour, depending on experience
