Primary Responsibilities

- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve best value.

- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.

- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.

- Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams as needed.

- Support audits and reporting related to procurement activities.

- Run required reports and communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

- Track orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

- Monitor stock replenishment reports and place replenishment orders as needed.

- Develop and good maintain relationships with supplier customer service reps.

- Use Oracle and other systems to place purchase orders.

- Provide drawings and specifications to vendors as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of contract management and purchasing best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- CPSM, CPP, or CIPS certification is a plus.

- Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.

- Familiarity with budgeting and cost analysis.
