We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist in our Leduc office, to support and strengthen Pitbull’s end-to-end procurement function. This role plays a key part in ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supply continuity, and strong vendor performance across all service lines.
You’ll be closely involved in implementing our new ERP system, standardizing procurement processes, and supporting long-term growth across the organization. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both structure and problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services across operations, shops, and offices
- Support sourcing strategies that reduce costs, improve quality, and mitigate supply risk
- Maintain preferred vendor relationships and pricing agreements
- Assist with contract reviews, negotiations, and purchasing terms
- Ensure purchasing aligns with internal controls, budgets, and compliance requirements
- Support shop and field teams with timely, accurate purchasing
- Support procurement activities related to Pitbull’s ERP implementation
- Assist with mapping and standardizing purchasing workflows
- Help develop SOPs, training materials, and documentation
- Provide end-user support and identify process improvement opportunities
- Assist with price analysis, cost comparisons, and spend reporting
- Monitor market trends, supply risks, and pricing changes
- Support reporting and dashboards tracking procurement KPIs
- Participate in supplier consolidation and cost-saving initiatives
- Support vendor relationship management and performance tracking
- Assist with resolving supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing
- Coordinate RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bidding processes
- Work closely with Fleet & Maintenance, Operations, and Finance
- Support inventory flow between purchasing and stock management
- Contribute to cost control and operational efficiency initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes as the business grows
- Support Indigenous, local, and ESG-aligned procurement initiatives
- Assist with procurement planning tied to new service lines and growth
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of procurement experience (industrial services, construction, oil & gas, or maintenance preferred)
- ERP procurement module experience is an asset
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
- SCMP, CPSM, or progress toward a supply chain designation is an asset
