Electrical background (analog electric power education mandatory) required for a Technical Sales Representative working from California handling west coast USA accounts. ProgUSA is expanding its sales force in USA and wants this candidate to grow into an Area Sales Manager. The company has been in business 20 years, selling and supporting high-end electrical testing equipment to power utilities, electrical testing companies, and to electrical equipment OEM's.
Some air and road trip travel is required and experience with the power industry will be necessary. Package is base salary plus commission, with expense allowance. This is NOT an IT or data networking type of job. It is technical sales, so formal education in electrical power technology is mandatory. Bachelors preferred but college is acceptable in electrical technology or engineering. Work will be performed from suitable home office. Manager based in HQ in Orlando, FL. Occasional lifting of demo equipment up to 40 lbs will be required. Excellent American English is mandatory. PC skills with MS office is necessary. PC provided. Form 1099-NEC to IRS type of remuneration. It is a contract position but permanent. Requires curious nature, Tech sales background, good listening skills and self motivation, plus effective presentation skills.
