Plant Operations Supervisor

This role is critical in ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient plant performance while upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate plant operations to meet production targets, safety standards, and quality expectations.

- Supervise production and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution. Interdepartmental supervision may be required in non-standard hours.

- Promote Baymag’s Culture & Leadership principles, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and innovation.

- Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality management programs; conduct inspections and implement corrective actions.

- Train and mentor team members, assess competencies, and support professional development across roles.

- Collaborate with department managers to ensure effective communication and seamless transitions between shifts.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

- Manage administrative tasks including shift logs, payroll authorization, safety meetings, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications:

- Proven leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing operations.

- 3–5 years of supervision proficiency within a calcining, or similar industrial environment.

- Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.

- Excellent communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.

- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to operational challenges.

· Ability to meet physical demands and work 12-hour shift with rotating production crew, including nights and weekends.
