About the Role:
The Bonnell Payroll Administrator/HR Generalist is an extension of the Human Resources department and is tasked with ensuring all team members have everything they need to be set up for success, produce the best work product and drive the business forward. This is a dual role for someone who is equally excited by the ever-changing and challenging world of Human Resources, as well as someone who wants to be the face of HR for Bonnell employees.
What You'll Be Responsible For•Maintaining necessary bi-weekly hourly payroll records in a timely and accurate manner - includes all interface and payroll processing activities. Perform bi-weekly payroll reconciliation.
•Act as day-to-day liaison with employees for payroll-related processing.
•Respond to employee inquiries and take appropriate action utilizing UKG ready, Dayforce, and Oracle HCM to ensure timely review and resolution of issues.
•Maintain and update employee payroll records terminations, promotions, transfers, and deductions.
•Ensure quality controls in the payroll process and update documentation- includes reconciliation of results and audit checks.
•Conduct internal SOX Audits
•Generate union remittance reports and employee profile and union records
•You will own all HR systems, ensuring they are up to date with correct team member information, and a source of truth from a financial control / payroll administration perspective.
•You will have the attendance and job board calendar. We are a manufacturing company and want to ensure that what we are providing for the team is beneficial to them.
•Plan and present payroll and benefits information in new hire orientation.
•Own tracking internal opportunities to ensure attendance, maintaining personnel files, historical documentation integrity, and financial understanding.
•Catalog and track all job postings, and audit documentation as required by Tredegar and DOL (Department of Labor).
•Ad-hoc administrative tasks in support of Human Resources and organizational clarity.
•Partnering with Talent Acquisition, you will ensure an unparalleled candidate experience, through scheduling and digital on-site preparation, as well as onboarding and offboarding.
•Perform other duties as assigned
Employee Relations
•Serve as POC for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies and procedures.
•Maintain accurate employee records and HR documents.
•Generate and submit HR related reports as required
•Support HR operations by assisting with orientation and onboarding
Performanace Management
•Assist in the performance management process and system usage.
•Track and report on performance management activities and outcomes
Benefits And Compensation
•Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefits related questions
•Participate in benefits open enrollment processes.
•Manage FMLA, STD, ADA claims and leave of absence.
Hr Compliance
•Perform employee termination for all HR systems
•Prepare separation notices
•Assist with unemployment claims
•Prepare and submit I-9 employment verification using E-Verify
•Track and report workforce turnover rate, employee headcount, and absenteeism

What You'll Need To Have
•A positive attitude and understanding that oftentimes, the little things can be unnoticed, but it does not mean they are not integral to the organization's success.
•Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field, and five years or more of related customer service or employee administration experience.
•Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DocuSign, HR databases and HRIS systems.
•Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
•Prior experience with Kronos/Ultimate (UKG) HRIS, as well as Ceridian Payroll.
•A love for people and a desire to see them succeed.
•Proven experience of a solution-oriented mindset in the HR space.
•Feedback champion, both giving and receiving.
•An interest in the HR/People Operations space, and a want to have your hands in a lot of different jars.
•The desire to teach and train others on equipment and processes.
•Ability to learn quickly and go with the flow.
