About this opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Services & Corporate Event Assistant to support our Corporate Services team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Corporate Services, this entry-level role is perfect for someone who takes pride in creating a well-organized, welcoming workplace. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking ownership, and is passionate about ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations, we’d love to hear from you.
Job functions will involve:
- Coordinate office maintenance, cleaning services, repairs, and internal moves
- Ensure a clean, professional, and inviting office environment
- Assist in organizing events, meetings, and team socials
- Manage logistics such as catering, materials, and event setup and teardown
- Greet and assist visitors; provide reception coverage as needed
- Provide vacation coverage in the mailroom
- Reconcile purchasing card expenses and maintain expense records
- Assist with company store operations and various internal services
- Assist with any other tasks as required
- Previous experience in office administration, facilities, or event coordination is an asset, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
- Capable of lifting/moving office or event supplies when necessary
- A strong sense of responsibility and ownership of your work and environment
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A self-motivated, can-do attitude with minimal need for supervision
- Professional, approachable, and a true team player
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent customer service focus
- A personal commitment to delivery with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and a sense of teamwork
