Pacific Steel & Recycling has an opening for a full-time Office Assistant. Pacific Steel & Recycling is an employee-owned "ESOP" company where every employee is a teammate and an owner.
In this position the employee-owner will help assist management with various tasks that involve the recycling of mostly metal products in a team- and customer-service oriented industrial environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Must have the ability to multitask in an often fast-paced work environment
- Has the ability to communicate well with others in person, on phone and email
- Is comfortable with counting and using basic math throughout the day
- Likes using computers, and ideally already has familiarity with software systems such as Microsoft Office
- Can easily switch back and forth between standing, sitting and walking short distances throughout the workday
- Enjoys being a team player
The successful candidate must be ambitious, have a great attitude toward the company and other team members, and have excellent customer service skills. To be considered, applicant must pass a background screening, drug testing, and an integrity test.
