Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our daily office operations and ensuring smooth project coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, and delivering excellent customer service. Must be comfortable handling administrative tasks, communicating with city departments, and maintaining accurate records related to permitting and project data. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and a friendly demeanor to interact with clients and staff effectively.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate and manage city permits and inspections for ongoing projects.
•Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
•Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and invoicing.
•Keep track of job expenses
•Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for office staff.
•Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
•Proven experience in an office or administrative role. (Construction/remodeling experience preferred)
•Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
•Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues.
•Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks.
