MATERIAL HANDLER

Position Overview

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move materials, products, and goods within IFAB Corp.’s manufacturing and warehouse facilities. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, supports production and logistics operations, and maintains safety and organization standards. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Operating & Material Handling

- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and goods within the facility.

- Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage racks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.

- Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, including fragile or hazardous items.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.

- Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.

Safety & Equipment Maintenance

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.

- Support routine forklift maintenance and coordinate with supervisors for repairs.

Collaboration & Communication

- Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to coordinate material movement.

- Communicate effectively regarding inventory status, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid forklift operator certification.

- Proven experience as a forklift driver or material handler.

- Knowledge of forklift operations, safety procedures, and warehouse practices.
