Your primary support role will be on the production line. In this position, your skills will directly contribute to production continuity through the timely delivery of components. The Material Handler ( Forklift Driver) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support operational needs. The Material Handler will operate various material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently, maintaining organization and inventory accuracy. This role requires close collaboration with warehouse and production teams to meet shipping and receiving schedules, contributing to overall supply chain effectiveness. Ultimately, the Material Handler helps maintain a smooth and productive workflow by managing materials with precision and care.
Pay rate starts at $17.50 - $18.50 hr

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift experience of 2 or more years required!
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Assist with assembly line support by delivering materials and components as needed to maintain continuous production flow.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track inventory and update records in real time.
- Work overtime as required to meet operational deadlines and support peak workload periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
The required skills such as operating material handling equipment, rack picking, and scales are essential for daily tasks involving the movement and management of inventory. Proficiency with barcode scanning and warehouse management systems ensures accurate tracking and documentation of materials, which is critical for inventory control and operational efficiency. Assembly line support skills enable the candidate to contribute directly to production continuity by timely delivery of components. Additionally, the ability to work overtime demonstrates flexibility and commitment to meeting business demands during peak periods.
