We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team and support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations by safely moving, staging, and organizing materials to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Handle incoming and outgoing material, pallets, and heavy steel tubing

- Move and stage pipe in the yard and shop for production and shipping needs

- Support loading, unloading, and pipe stacking operations

- Assist with yard clean-up, organization, and maintaining an orderly work environment

- Prepare and support loads for pipe stacking and shipment

- Interact with delivery drivers to confirm proper documentation required to release shipments

- Review shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy

- Review shipments to ensure quantities and descriptions match shipping paperwork

- Communicate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies

- Operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently

- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED

- Minimum 1 year of experience moving full-length pipe using a large-capacity forklift (20,000 lbs+) or Combilift

- Experience moving and staging 45-foot pipe in an industrial yard or manufacturing environment

- Experience operating overhead cranes and jib cranes

- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment

- Working knowledge of basic hand tools and safe material handling practices

- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time

- Comfortable working in controlled, semi-controlled, and outdoor environments (machine shop, warehouse, and yard)
