Black Forest is a U.S.–based custom jewelry manufacturer specializing in recognition jewelry, championship rings, scholastic rings, and promotional pins. We’re growing and ready to bring in our first in-house marketing hire to help execute our established marketing plan. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants ownership, variety, and the chance to make a visible impact in a small business setting.
The Marketing Coordinator will take the lead on carrying out marketing projects across digital, print, and trade channels. You’ll help drive our brand presence, support sales efforts, and keep marketing initiatives moving. This is a hands-on role focused on execution—not just assisting others.
· Create, schedule, and manage posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
· Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow audience reach
· Repurpose content across distributor channels and partner networks
· Research trends and competitors to recommend opportunities
· Build and execute email campaigns for customers, distributors, and leads
· Write product spotlights, announcements, newsletters, and follow-ups
· Assist with updating product pages, news, and resources on the website
· Coordinate basic SEO tasks (keywords, meta updates, alt tags)
· Work with owners or vendors on content refreshes
· Create or coordinate graphics using Canva, Adobe, or freelancers
· Assist with photography for products, events, and promotions
· Help maintain consistent branding across platforms and materials
· Support packaging, print assets, and visual storytelling
· Coordinate production of signage, samples, and printed materials
· Support trade show follow-ups and lead tracking
· Assist with promotional offers or new product spotlights
· Upload content to distributor platforms (e.g., ESP, ZOOMcatalog, Distributor Central)
· Assist sales team with flyers, presentation decks, and digital assets
· Maintain marketing calendars and oversee task timelines
· Track project status and follow up with internal stakeholders
· Collaborate with outside vendors or contractors when needed
· Assist ownership in rolling out brand and messaging initiatives
· Use AI tools to help create content, visuals, and copy
· Report on social, email, and website performance (light analytics)
· Gather feedback and insights to recommend improvements
· Maintain version control on documents and promotional files
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar
OR 1–2 years of relevant marketing experience (internships count)
· Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools (or willingness to learn)
Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)
