Marketing Coordinator

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Rapidly growing global leader in materials science & technology. Products include rare earths and high purity and nanoscale metals and compounds used in aerospace, 3D printing, pharmaceuticals, defense, space, energy, and alternative energy. Position is based in company’s offices in Los Angeles (Westwood/Santa Monica). The company maintains production and research operations in several U.S. locations and ships worldwide. Customers include Apple, NASA, Space X, 3M and General Electric.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under the Marketing Manager, this position will assist with general marketing efforts, manage advertisements and sponsorships, and perform web design/content writing. Fundamental tasks include sponsorhip management, advertising artwork/copy, front-end website design, UX design, and social media management.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·        Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of advertisements and sponsorships, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across campaigns

·        Act as primary/sole point of contact for all advertising and sponsorship partners and provide responsive, professional communication

·        Oversee end-to-end project management of sponsorship and advertising deliverables, including timelines, deadlines and the creation and coordination of assets for timely delivery and execution

·        Create and edit print and web advertisements/banners

·        Assist with website design changes and maintenance

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor’s degree in a related Marketing emphasis or equivalent work experience

·        Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience incl. graphic and/or web design

SKILLS:

·        A good sense of front-end style and design

·        Adobe Photoshop/InDesign experience

·        Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively

·        Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused with an entrepreneurial mindset. A self-starter with an ability to work independently

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to change gears, as job requires
