Reports to Operations & Maintenance Technician and Administrator
Carry out all operational tasks of the water utility in accordance with safety standards, codes and procedures.
Follow all regulations within Dundurn Rural Water Utility and the Water Security Agency.
Assist with daily water sampling of chlorine and turbidity, weekly Bacteriological tests, and daily Lagoon monitoring.
Maintain the appearance of buildings and grounds using a zero turn mower, and weed trimmers
Assist with building and installing water meter assemblies in Subscribers homes.
Assist with any general maintenance and repairs involved with the pipeline and subscriber connections.
Assist with any general maintenance and checking of pump houses ensuring that all operations are within specifications.
Any other duties as specified by Board direction, administrator & Operations Maintenance Technician

1. Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with subscribers, fellow employees, board members and vendors/contractors.
2. Ability to understand and follow verbal or simple written instructions.
4. Ability to make minor repairs to buildings and equipment.
5. Willing to learn how to operate a skid-steer, zero turn mower, and weed trimming equipment.
6. Willingness to learn how to operate line locating equipment and a metal detector.
1. Must have a high school diploma or GED, and be registered in a post-secondary institution.
2. Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license.
3. Must have ability to perform physical labor.
