Maintenance Technician

Proto Technologies is a nationwide prototype and low-volume manufacturer serving aerospace, medical, and government customers. We are AS9100 certified and ITAR registered. We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our Liberty Lake facility.

This role is ideal for someone with construction or trades experience who is looking for steady work for the next several months, with potential for a long-term position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

- Perform general building and facilities maintenance

- Assist with light construction and remodel projects (framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, painting)

- Maintain equipment such as air compressors, pumps, motors, and HVAC components (filters and belts)

- Keep the facility clean and organized, including waste collection and coordination with vendors

- Drive company vehicles to deliver parts and pick up materials

- Clear snow from entrances and walkways as needed

- Follow all safety rules and procedures

- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Entry-level to 2+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field

- Ability to use basic hand and power tools

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Schedule

- Monday–Friday (some flexibility with days of the week and time of day)

- Occasional overtime as needed
