Machine Operator

Only applicants living in Canada and with an eligible work permit need apply.

We are an automotive Tier 2 stamping and welding manufacturing plant seeking machine operator candidates for Midnight Shift 11:00pm to 7:30am.

Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and monitor machines according to production specifications and schedules.

- Identify and resolve machine malfunctions by performing minor repairs and adjustments as needed.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and report major issues to supervisors.

- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

- Support plant continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure daily production meets IFOTIS requirements (In Full, On Time, In Spec).

- Participate in cross-training with other departments on the production line.

Physical Requirements:

- Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours per shift

- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs regularly

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing required PPE

Other Requirements:

- Understand and apply health and safety policies and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Hourly wage: $18 to $20.

- Full-time (Monday to Friday; Saturdays as needed)

Midnight Shift 11:00pm to 7:30am

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Experience:

- Automotive Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
