Machine Operator

Tube bending company located in Tampa is looking for an experienced Machine Operator or Auto Mechanic to perform a variety of functions. This would include operating, bending, designing exhaust systems for various classic automobiles, end finishing and maintaining bent tubes. Applicant must be responsible and comply with all standard safety regulations. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and operate tube bending machines to perform tasks such as cutting, deburring and bending Steel and Stainless Steel tubes

- Understand mechanical drawings, interpret and follow specifications required

- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computers

- Must have the ability to apply concepts of basic math

- Skill in operating automotive machinery as well as knowledge of measurement tools

- Inspect finished products to the prints specifications

- Must be able to stand, walk and kneel throughout the day

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach is a must

- Good communication abilities while working with other staff

- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
