Wasatch Energy Management is looking for an Entry-Level Landman to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in the oil and gas industry to learn unique land related skills and grow with a company that is actively developing energy resources in Utah.  

This position will work out of our home office located in Provo, Utah, and may require some travel.  THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. 

No oil and gas experience is required. We are looking for motivated, dependable people who enjoy working with others, learning new skills, and solving problems. We will provide training and hands-on experience to help you succeed. 

As a Landman, you will work with landowners and mineral owners, research property records, assist with lease agreements, and support the company's land and development efforts. This position includes both office and field work, giving you the opportunity to build relationships, develop professional skills, and learn how the energy industry operates. 

Responsibilities 

• Research property ownership and public records 
• Communicate with landowners and mineral owners 
• Assist with lease agreements and related documents 
• Maintain accurate records and files 
• Travel in Utah as needed 
• Support land acquisition and development projects
