We are seeking an experienced Landman
to support a client project that requires
on-site work at the client’s Oklahoma City office. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable professional who thrives in a collaborative setting but prefers the autonomy of independent contract work.
You’ll work as a
1099 contractor, managing your own schedule and methods while fulfilling on-site project expectations and deliverables as set by the client. You’ll collaborate with client and EPC teams to support land and lease management operations, ensuring accurate and audit-ready results.
- Review and maintain land records, leases, and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze title documents, deeds, and ownership reports to verify property rights and working interests
- Support lease administration tasks, including payment tracking, obligations, and reporting
- Conduct ownership research using courthouse records and online databases
- Coordinate with landowners, operators, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Contribute to due diligence, acquisitions, divestitures, and curative efforts
- Prepare concise reports and documentation aligned with project and client standards
- Ensure deliverables meet expectations for completeness, clarity, and audit-readiness- 5+ years of experience in land administration, lease records, or as a Landman
- Strong knowledge of title research, leasehold ownership, and land management practices
- Experience with SAP required; familiarity with other land systems (Quorum, Enverus, etc.) a plus
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable engaging on-site at the client’s Oklahoma City office as required by the project

This position is for an
independent contractor, not an employee of Energy Point Consulting LLC. As a contractor, you are responsible for managing how, when, and where you complete the work, including meeting any site-based access or collaboration expectations set by the client. While project deadlines and on-site presence may be required, EPC does not control your work methods or schedule. This arrangement complies with IRS guidelines for independent contractors, and as such, no benefits (such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement plans) are provided.
