Leasing Landman

Norwood Land Services is seeking an experienced Landman with extensive leasing experience. Applicants must have a minimum 3 years verifiable experience. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and detail oriented while working in a competitive and fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare lease forms and Negotiate Oil & Gas Leases with sophisticated mineral owners

· Building and maintaining leasehold tracking spreadsheets

· Ability to examine and interpret complicated Mineral and Leasehold Title

· Full understanding of modern lease language (lease analyst)

· Capable of curing gaps in title to find current ownership

Job Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Energy Management, Land Management or Energy Commerce, but not required)

· 3 Years Experience – Permian and/or Delaware Basin preferred

· AAPL Membership

Skills

· Ability to utilize and navigate all relevant online resources

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Proficiency in Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat

· Management of personnel resources

· Meet deadlines and fulfill obligations

Compensation

· Competitive day rate based on experience and work product
