Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a non-ferrous receiver for its AIM Recyclage Victoriaville site. Under the supervision of the site manager, the non-ferrous receiver will be responsible for the general upkeep of the premises. They must also contribute to the proper functioning of production, particularly by sorting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and by following safety instructions.

What you'll be responsible for:

- Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals

- Classifying non-ferrous materials and determine the type of material

- Weighing the material

- Operating the forklift

- Performing daily maintenance

- Carrying out the general upkeep of the premises

- Maintaining equipment and assets in good condition

- Cleaning the workstation at the end of the shift

- Entering data into the RECY system

- Providing prices to customers

- Providing excellent customer service

- Assisting with torch cutting when needed

- Preparing shipments and receive materials

- Wearing personal protective equipment

Qualifications
