Job Description

AIM

is currently seeking a

Non‑Ferrous Receiver

for its

Trois‑Rivières

site, working

Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises. They will also contribute to the smooth operation of production by sorting ferrous and non‑ferrous metals. The candidate must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and following all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

- Sort different types of non‑ferrous metals;

- Classify non‑ferrous material and identify the type of metal;

- Weigh incoming material;

- Operate the forklift;

- Perform daily maintenance tasks;

- Carry out general site upkeep;

- Ensure equipment and tools remain in good working condition;

- Clean the workstation at the end of each shift;

- Enter data into the RECY system;

- Provide pricing to customers;

- Deliver excellent customer service;

- Assist with torch‑cutting when needed;

- Prepare shipments and receive materials;

- Wear personal protective equipment at all times.

Qualifications

- Experience operating a forklift (an asset);

- Experience in metal recycling (an asset);

- Knowledge of metals (an asset);

- Ability to work in a dusty environment;

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions;

- Good physical condition;

- Strong focus on safety;
