Junior Recruiter - Temporary

The Tuccaro Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and human resources while supporting a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

Position Overview

The Junior Recruiter will play a key role in supporting day-to-day recruitment and onboarding activities across the organization. Reporting to the HR Coordinator, this position will assist in coordinating the hiring process, onboarding new employees, and ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities, including:

- Posting job advertisements

- Screening resumes

- Scheduling interviews

- Conducting reference checks

- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding:

- Prepare new hire packages

- Collect required onboarding documents (e.g., certifications, driver’s abstracts, etc.)

- Schedule orientations and training

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and physical filing systems

- File, organize, and maintain confidential HR documentation in accordance with company standards

- Support the HR department with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks

- Respond to candidate and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Assist with recruitment tracking and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing)

- Previous administrative or recruitment experience considered an asset

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- High level of professionalism and confidentiality

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension based on organizational needs.
