Junior Production Technologist

As a majority owner and operator of the Weyburn EOR Project, annually we safely sequester approximately 1.5 million tonnes of CO 2 making it a unique project within our portfolio. Purpose:

As the Production Technician, you will be mainly responsible for oversight and management of ProTrend, as well as assisting with information reviews, data validations, and setup verifications in our measurement software programs and processes. Supporting our internal measurement program, you will also work closely with all Production Techs and Production Accountants in processes with relation to measurement and reporting.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

- Management and oversight for WCP ProTrend - sampling and calibration software (CCES)

- Support for area Production Techs/Analysts in FDC system (Production Manager) including well setups and verifications, quality control, partner reporting

- Support the administrators of FFVM system (Envirosoft), well/facility validations and modifications, quality control, monthly process control support

- Administration support for 3rd party measurement/SCADA systems including ZediAccess, ProMonitorLive, Data Scavenger, ProMonitor, AFTI WatchDog

- Support for the EPAP certification program, including completion of various EPAP controls and declaration evaluation processes; CAI reviews; workflow responses, and program administration

- Assist with compilation of data for 3rd party and regulatory site audits

- Work with the Measurement and Operations teams in the validation and reporting of measurement schematics as required

- Works with the full measurement & automation team on tracking and administering acquisition and disposition integration activities

- Group invoice management/procurement activities (Open Invoice)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- 3-5 years experience in oil & gas production operations

- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.

- Analytics/reporting experience also considered an asset (Tableau preferred).

- Previous experience with ProTrend also considered an asset

- Strong organizational and time management skills
