GIS is seeking a skilled and motivated Lease Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining oil and gas production operations, ensuring facilities are operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field operations, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring accurate production reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor daily operation of oil and gas wells, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment.

- Record and report accurate production data, test results, and operating conditions.

- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on production equipment.

- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Coordinate with field personnel, contractors, and dispatch for efficient operations.

- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and operational issues in a timely manner.

- Identify opportunities for production optimization and cost savings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, or related field role.

- Strong knowledge of upstream oil and gas production operations.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.

- Familiarity with SCADA systems and automation; at least 1 year of experience monitoring production using digital tools.

- Proficiency in gauging tanks, reading meters, and handling well testing procedures; 5+ years of experience required. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas production operations.

- Hands-on experience with compressors, pumps, and separators.

- Working knowledge of environmental and safety compliance requirements.

- Experience with work order systems and reporting tools.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education:

- High school diploma or GED required.

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
