Production Specialist

We are a manufacturer of metal building components with a facility in South Dakota and in Minnesota. We are looking for new team members at our facility in Freeport, MN. Year-round work, no layoffs ever, and paid health insurance are only a few of the perks of joining our team! Work hours are typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday but expect to be available for overtime. Starting wage is $22.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- An Operations Specialist's primary responsibility is the operation of machines as assigned, including roll formers, benders, slitters, and forklifts.

- This includes manufacturing and handling material such as panels, trims, and fasteners to complete customer orders and maintain inventory stock.

- This position can be physically demanding. It may require lifting of items up to 50 lbs. and may require you to use a forklift regularly. It also requires frequent bending, stooping and twisting as well as standing for the duration of the workday. PPE is company-provided (safety glasses, gloves, and sleeves) with a reimbursement on safety-toe shoes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Forklift experience required.

- A successful Operations Specialist will have basic mathematical, teamwork, and communication skills as well as a desire to continuously learn.

- The ability to read a tape measure and stand/walk on concrete floors for 8+ hours a day is required. If you can drive a forklift, that is a plus!

- Candidates must be 18 yrs or older.
