We are currently looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated individual with good communications skills to fill the position of Production Technician within our Coastal Operations team based in Long Beach, CA.
The starting base wage for this posted position is $33.18 per hour, with a target annual bonus opportunity of 10% of wages paid. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Observes all OSHA safety requirements
- Perform all work assignments in compliance with CRC safety and environmental policies, rules, and standards
- Maintains and demonstrates a working knowledge and awareness of CRC policies, emergency procedures, and hazardous materials
- Performs all work assignments in a manner that protects equipment and materials from damage and prevent spills
- Maintains safe working conditions with assigned work areas
- Responds to and reports for callout or overtime work as necessary to maintain safe, efficient, and economical operations
- Maintains all tools furnished by CRC in first-class working condition
- Must be able to demonstrate all requirements of the CRC Respiratory Protection Plan program
- Reviews and updates job description annually
- Performs the primary thinking required and encompassed by the overall job definition
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as required by the immediate supervisor
- Efficiently completes all job duties and assignments
- Provides vacation and absence relief as required
- Attends training sessions and administrative meetings as required
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively and communicate clearly - both verbally and in writing - with employees and vendors, including the ability to use and understand appropriate technical terminology related to job duties
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials used in oilfield applications
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License
- Duties may require physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, vessels, scaffolding, stairs, and ramps
