1.0 INTRODUCTION

Background: Active exploration programs are labor intensive and require field-oriented geologists to complete a variety of tasks to ensure success. Geologists interested in mining and mineral exploration are ideal candidates to assist Sr. Geologists who manage the projects. Tamarack Geological Services is working to build a team of geologists to assist with ongoing exploration in the region.

Objectives: The Jr. Geologist will assist with a variety of tasks outlined by the Sr. Geologist to advance mineral exploration goals and objectives.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK

Key Tasks:

- Core Cutting: Use a core saw to safely saw samples to submit for lab analysis.

- Core Photography: Clean, assemble, and photograph drill core as it becomes available. Regularly upload photos to server for upper management.

- Core Organization: Maintain an orderly system of core organization as directed by Sr. Geologists. Must be able to safely handle HQ core boxes weighing on average over 60lbs. periodically moving hundreds of boxes per day, from various heights including ground level.

- Data Entry: Collect geotechnical, lithology, alteration, structural, mineralization and sample data under the supervision and training of Sr. Geologists.

- Field Work: Safely complete field work such as soil and rock chip sampling under the direction of the Sr. Geologists.

- Equipment Operation: Safely drive company vehicles to remote sites to retrieve core and complete field work. Safely operate heavy equipment for core handling purposes.

- Communication: Regularly communicate work status and findings to Sr. Geologists.

3.0 QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology (no experience needed).

- Strong interest in minerology and hydrothermal mineral deposits.

- Ability to learn local geology, follow directions, work unsupervised, collect high quality data and work safely.

- Highly organized.

- Reliable transportation for travel to and from the site.

Total Compensation:

- Hourly Rate $25-$30/Hour DOE

- Mobilization Reimbursement

- PPE Reimbursement

- Per Diem (for non-local applicants)
