Fox Exploration Ltd. is accepting applications for Junior Geologists, as outlined below, to join our team for the 2026 season at diamond drilling program located near Dawson City, Yukon. Fox Exploration provides exploration camp management and support personnel to various clients in the natural resources sector. Job Overview

The Junior Geologist will work closely with other geological team members in processing and sampling of diamond drill core at a remote exploration camp on a rotational basis of approximately 4 weeks on site and 1-2 weeks of leave. This position reports directly to the Project Geologist. Accommodations at camp, meals, and transportation costs to and from the project site will be provided.

Responsibilities

Job duties of the Junior Geologist will include but are not limited to the following:

- Overseeing geotechnical logging and sampling of diamond drill core

- Photography of drill core and data entry

- Assist senior geologists with geological logging of drill core

- Organize samples for shipment to the analytical lab

- Track and catalogue drill core and samples

- Work closely with the rest of the geological team members and support staff

Requirements

- Minimum 2nd year Geology or Earth Sciences student

- Geotechnical training an asset

- Previous experience in a mineral exploration camp is an asset

- Physically fit to perform duties and ability to lift core boxes (approx. 50 lbs)

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Anticipated Start Date: Various start dates are available for this project which is anticipated to start late February and run through to October this year.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $300.00-$400.00 per day
