MMG Limited is seeking a well-rounded Geologist to support the Canadian Izok Corridor Project. During this two-year term, the successful candidate will contribute across both office-based technical work and field programs, supporting GIS, data and database management, technical reporting, geological interpretation, and field activities. The role works closely with the VP Canada, senior geologists, and permitting and community partners and plays a key role in advancing the project.
- Provide GIS support, including producing maps, figures, and visuals for planning, reporting, and presentations
- Assist the VP Canada with technical presentation materials, data compilation, analysis, and documentation
- Prepare project reports, summaries, and updates with clear and accurate technical content
- Maintain and manage geological databases, ensuring consistent and accurate QA/QC
- Contribute to geological interpretation and modelling in collaboration with senior technical specialists.
- Work with the tenement manager to ensure permits, claims, and tenure remain compliant and in good standing.
- Assist with stakeholder management ensuring regulatory authorities and local government organizations are continuously updated.
- Coordinate information between consultants, internal teams, and project partners.
- Participate in field programs, including mapping, sampling, drilling support, and core logging.
- Collect and organize geological, structural, lithological, and geochemical data.
- Support senior field geologists and the modelling geologist to meet program objectives for Mineral Resource estimation and project development.
- Promote MMG’s SHEC expectations in all field activities.
- B.Sc. in Geology or Earth Sciences.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in exploration or mining geology.
- Strong GIS skills and confidence preparing maps, figures, and presentation materials.
- Experience with technical writing, report preparation, and project documentation.
- Strong project and data management skills and experience working with geological databases and scheduling.
- Experience with drilling, core logging, mapping, and QA/QC.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior consulting geologists and technical specialists.
- Experience with or interest in permitting and tenement processes is an asset.
- Member of EGBC or similar, or eligible for P.Geo registration.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Comfortable traveling to northern sites and working in remote field conditions.

- This role may be performed from anywhere in Canada; however, travel to site is required.
