Inventory Clerk

Responsible for accurately tracking and reporting stock levels and locations of steel tubing and bar within our warehouse and yard. Performing physical counts, and updating inventory records to ensure proper stock availability and facilitate timely order fulfillment, while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing and reporting movement of inventory on site:

- Verify locations of inventory on site:

- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to maintain accurate records on material on site:

- Maintain organized storage areas, optimizing space utilization.

- Data Entry and Record Keeping:

- Update inventory management systems with details regarding incoming and outgoing stock.

- Generate reports on inventory discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions.

- Order Fulfillment:

Required Skills:

- Attention to detail: Ability to accurately count and record inventory data.

- Basic computer skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry.

- Organizational skills: Efficiently managing stock levels and storage areas.

- Physical ability: Ability to lift and move heavy boxes

- Math skills: Calculating quantities and verifying inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience in a warehouse or retail inventory role preferred

- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures
