Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in
Montreal East(Quebec) for
Monday to Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.Reporting to the inventory supervisor, your role will mainly consist of receiving and storing materials received at the warehouse and for shipping.
What you will be responsible for:
- Receive, verify materials, and enter the necessary data into our systems
- Organize and store items in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and categorization using equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual systems or a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Receive requests at the counter while providing excellent service to our internal customers
- Remove items from inventory, package them, and prepare orders for shipment according to sales and distribution schedules
- Monitor inventory levels by performing manual counts
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and safe
- Participate in periodic audits and the production of inventory reports.
- You have experience in a warehouse, inventory, mechanical or supply chain environment, preferably.
- You have a high school diploma or a vocational diploma in a relevant field.
- You have a good knowledge of inventory software and basic computer skills.
- You are detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized.
- You are able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
- You have good communication and teamwork skills.
- You have a forklift certification (an asset, but not required).
- Bilingual in French and English (an asset).
