- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments.
- Inspect and verify all incoming shipments vs packing slips and sign off and date stamp all documentation prior to orders being received in GSS system
- Prepare items for shipment if needed palletized, labeled or boxed up.
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas though out PTMW complex.
- Pull parts drawings paperwork for items needing verification,
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions, including unpacking, examining and routing of all incoming shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including general housekeeping and maintenance of dock and receiving areas.
- Comply with company policies and department P&P’s, and company Core Values
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years shipping and/or receiving experience.
- Ability to use computer applications for shipping and receiving transactions.
- Familiarity with various freight companies.
- Ability to operate a forklift (1 year minimum).
- Familiarity with unit of measures such as LBS, Feet, Inches.
- Familiarity with the different manufacturing storage locations within the company.
- Ability to scan documents and material specifications into computer folders.
- Ability to review and execute products shipping schedules provided by the manufacturing departments.
- Ability to package products for sales orders, outside processing orders, and for return to vendors.
