Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess a strong ability to handle a wide range of human resource tasks, including supporting our teams across multiple states. This individual must have excellent attention to detail, flexibility and a passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•

Leads and manages HR Operations by maintaining company policies, updating company handbooks, maintaining employee files, assisting with payroll, supporting daily HR operations, new hire onboarding and orientation, and other duties as necessary

•

Develops and implements company policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company goals

•

Maintains organized and complete employee files, ensuring they align with company goals and regulatory requirements

•

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department

•

Oversees the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly and effectively

•

Acts as an employee relations specialist

•

Assists the development of HR processes, policies, and systems

•

Liaise with employees, supervisors, managers, and co-workers in problem resolution

•

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

•

Ensures compliance with I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; Periodically audits Forms I-9

•

Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner

•

Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employee and processes enrollment, cancellation, or changes

•

Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communications and election process.

•

Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

•

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

•

6+ years of HR experience including 2+ years of direct involvement in employee relations

•

Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving, and creative thinking skills

•

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with attention to detail

•

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

•

Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills

•

High level of discretion with confidential material

Requirements:

•

Must have valid driver's license

•

Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.

•
