Position Summary:

Ackerman is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager with a minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and consultant to business leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with organizational objectives. The HRBP will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a high-performance culture, and delivering solutions in areas such as talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and change management.


Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with senior leaders and managers to understand business strategies, goals, and challenges, and translate them into HR initiatives that drive business performance.
Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers on a range of HR topics including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Able to lead and implement HR programs and initiatives such as an HRIS implementation, succession planning, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and workforce planning.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective and thorough investigations when needed.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions, programs, and policies.
Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
Advise on compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
Champion a culture of continuous feedback, performance excellence, and employee engagement.
Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives, providing expertise in change management and communication strategies.
Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives at both local and global levels as needed.
All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a business partner or HR generalist role supporting mid-to-large-sized teams.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and trends.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
Exceptional interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience in driving HR initiatives that positively impact business performance and employee engagement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


Preferred Skills:

Experience working in trades, i.e., plumbing, construction, and manufacturing.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
