The Bucket Shop Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, employee development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human resources, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
•Support new employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation.
•Maintain and update HR records and employee files in compliance with company policies.
•Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training sessions.
•Conduct research on HR best practices, labor laws, and company policies.
•Handle general HR inquiries and support employees with HR-related questions.
•Support HR projects related to performance management and policy updates.
•Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Requirements
•Reside, and legally entitled to work in Canada
•The candidate must be a new entrant to the workforce, or transitioning to a new career
•The ideal candidate will have graduated from a Human Resources degree/diploma in the past two (2) years
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
•Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
