Dubak Electrical Group, LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team in our La Grange Park, Illinois office. This individual must have excellent communication skills, pride themselves on their integrity and confidentiality, while providing the highest level of customer service to our employees and external partners. In this role, you will support a wide range of HR functions from recruiting and onboarding to compliance, ensuring a positive experience for current and future team members.
Responsibilities for this position would include, but are not limited to:
•Organize and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation processes
•Assist Human Resources Manager with compiling/auditing digital employee files
•Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems
•Support benefit administration, including data entry and employee inquiries
•Respond to internal and external HR-related questions
•Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
•Help prepare HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making
•Assist with HR programs such as performance evaluations, training initiatives, and employee engagement events
•Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
•Conduct reference checks on prospective employees
•Support the offboarding process using protocol to ensure a smooth transition Assist Human Resources Manager with employee relation matters, including investigations and documentation
•Collaborate with department leaders to align HR support with business goals and operational needs
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
•1-2 years of experience in a HR or administrative support role
•Familiarity with employment laws, HR processes, and best practices
•Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
•High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information
•Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS platforms is a plus
•Bilingual; proficiency in Spanish is preferred
