Trojan Safety has a busy 2026 Turnaround season quickly approaching. We are looking for experienced TA personnel to join our team. This work will begin May 2nd and is expected to continue into September.
You MUST have the following tickets in order to work here:
- H2S Alive
- CSO - Common Safety Orientation
- Standard First Aid (Intermediate - Red Cross or St. John Ambulance)
- Confined Space Entry and RESCUE - The rescue part of this is VERY IMPORTANTMust be able to travel to Fort St. John, BC April 26, 2026. We will provide accommodations, as well as pay for your travel time from your hometown to Fort St John.
Pay is $25/hr. Guaranteed 12 hour days with overtime everyday. Here is the break down of how pay is calculated in BC.
First 8 hours @ $25.00/hr = $200.00
Hours 8-12 @ time and a half $37.50/hr = $150.00
Then, in BC if you work 7 days consecutively, the 6th and 7th day that fall in the same pay period are then at time and a half all day long, totaling $450 for those 2 days
Averaging $378.57/day when you work 7 days a week.
On top of that you will receive subsistence pay of $65.00 every other day to help with the cost of groceries/food.
Travel time outside of the guaranteed 12 hour day is paid at BC minimum wage $17.85/hr. Meaning you must have spent the full 12 hours physically on site before charging for travel time. If your whole day doesn't exceed 12 hours, you make your regular pay.
12 hours paid $350 + $65 for sub, plus 2 hours of travel time @ $17.85/hr
This example is a typical Turnaround day.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Must be able to provide a clean drivers abstract.
